It’s not scrapped as such but it seems discussions are on hold. It may yet happen, it may happen in a coupe of seasons time but at this point I think everything is up in the air which just brings so much uncertainty going forward for all in the second, third and amateur levels of the game here!
Understandable. If they turned round and declared there was only promotion spot to go into the second tier after previously stating four would go up there would rightfully be complaints.

The owners seem upset (obviously) when they’ve been told four will go up and planned for that.
